If your not abnormal in some way, you are abnormal.

Is there a tendency for people to want to stand out from the crowd?

Do people choose cloths or hair style to be different from others?

Is brightly colored hair an attempt to be unique?

Is body jewelry an attempt to be unique?

Is body art (tattoos) an attempt to be unique?

Do people choose gender identity to be different?

Do people choose sexual orientation to be different?

Does a special talent make you different from other people?

Is it comforting to be with other people different in the same way that you are different?

Who is 'they'?

Are 'they' wealthy?

Are 'they' oppressors or oppressed?

Are 'they' more greedy than me?

Did 'they' have an easier path in life than me?

Did 'they' work, study and practice to gain in life?

You bad

You bad, You bad, am I good?

You bad cause you hate black,

You bad cause you hate white

You bad, You bad, am I good? You bad cause you rich, You bad cause you lazy

You bad, you bad, am I good? You bad cause you love power, You bad cause you big ego

You bad, You bad, am I good?

You bad cause you kill your babies, You bad cause you restrict my choice

You bad, You bad, am I good? You bad cause you different, You bad cause you not the same

You bad, You bad, am I good?

You bad cause you privilege your children, You bad cause you neglect your children

You bad, You bad, am I good?

You bad cause you blame others

You bad cause you want benefits

You bad, You bad, am I good?

You bad cause you sin, You bad cause you judge people

Am I good?  Am I good? By the sacrifice of Jesus.

Are you good?  Are you good? By the sacrifice of Jesus.

Employer Tax Deduction

How do you feel about what is a fair tax rate?  Biblical standards say 10% of income is fair.  Are you convinced that people that study and work hard to make more money should pay a higher tax rate?  Should someone who is more talented or productive pay a higher tax rate?

The bigger issue is should people or companies that provide employment pay higher taxes?  Is it the responsibility of wealthy people to provide jobs?

I propose an employer tax deduction.  I would suggest a tax deduction of three times what is payed as Employer Social Security Taxes.  Why three times?

Typical businesses have expenses equally distributed among wages, supplies and facilities.  A fair profit is recognized as 7% of receipts and Social Security Tax rate is at 6.2%.  This makes Employer Social Security taxes roughly 2.1% of receipts.  To make the fair profit of 7% tax reduced, would require a tax deduction of 3.3 times Social Security Taxes.

Why Social Security Taxes as an employment indicator.  These taxes are proportional to wages but also are capped so paying excessively high wages would not provide extra benefit.

Also, the amount of employer Social Security Taxes payed is already available without additional record keeping.

Employers

Should employers be penalized by unfair taxes?

Do wealthy people and corporations employ more people than people without excess money?

Should higher income people and corporations be taxed at a higher rate?

Do corporations have a vote in how much they get taxed?

Should taxes be less for people or corporations that employ people than those that do not?

Is a double or triple tax deduction for employer social security taxes paid a way to promote employment?

Should employer medicare taxes be included as a double or triple exemption?

Should employer government required medical insurance premiums count as an extra employer tax deduction?

Should any other government imposed expenses count as an extra employer tax deduction?

Is wages paid a better criteria for an extra deductions?

Would person hours of employee work be a good criteria as a tax deduction?

Would using wages paid as a deduction encourage excessively high salaries?

Which methods would be easier to implement to avoid corruption?

Would encouraging employment help reduce poverty?

Do minimum wage laws raise prices?

Do uniform minimum wage laws discourage hiring youth and senior citizens?

Would a reduced minimum wage for young and old people provide opportunities for disadvantaged people?

Would using a high school degree as an indicator for increased minimum wage encourage finishing high school?

Would a high school certificate of attendance be sufficient for full minimum wage?

Should an additional lower age limit for full minimum wage be applied?

Would a reduced minimum wage for handicapped people provide more opportunities for disadvantaged people?

What age should be used as a criteria for encouraging employment of senior citizens?

Are youth less experienced than other people at work ethics?

Are senior citizens discriminated against in basic employment opportunities?

Would exceptional or experienced senior citizens be making minimum wage?

Do youth and senior citizens require as much income to support a family as others?

Economics

 Capitalism vs Socialism vs Communism

Which economic system

  • Provides incentive to work hard
  • Provides incentive to study hard
  • Provides incentive to protest
  • Provides incentive to complain
  • Provides incentive to innovate
  • Provides money to invest
  • Reduces wealth
  • Gives government more control
  • Gives bureaucrats more control
  • Balances supply and demand
  • Encourages people to study difficult areas
  • Encourages taking risk
  • Provides optimism for the future
  • Is less competitive
  • Is globally less competitive
  • Traps people in a mediocre life
  • Reduces prosperity
  • Has less poor people
  • Provides more jobs
  • Provides better jobs
Can a blended economic system exists where a low floor is set to protect people from absolute poverty while allowing and encouraging people to work to succeed?

How low should the protective floor be set?

Should all citizens have air conditioning and a color tv?

Should the sojourner be provided as much as contributing citizens?

Who pays for the care of the poor?

Do the poor need more than food, shelter and opportunity?

Should the provided care be paid voluntarily or forced?

Blame

What is the cause of systemic poverty?

Why is systemic poverty called systemic racism?

Why do people seam to blame others for their situation?

Does a lack of hope for a prosperous future promote :
  • violence?
  • crime?
  • drug use?
  • sexual immorality?
  • hatred?
  • jealousy?
  • protest?
Does fear of the future promote any of the above?

Does a feeling of not being heard promote violence?

Does blaming someone else for your situation relieve your responsibilities?

Why is hatred so easy to share?

Can blaming someone else motivate you to work to succeed?

Can all difficulties be overcome with trust in God?

Does faith in God give hope?

Is it easy to escape from poverty?

Is it harder to escape from poverty if you blame someone else for it?

Do all people have something valuable to add to our human existence?

On a scale from 0 to perfection is anybody anywhere near perfection?

On a scale from 0 to perfection is anybody an absolute zero?

Does being loved by God give us value?

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Recipe

 Recipe to reduce poverty.

Are Violence, Crime, Drugs, Gangs, and Mobs the primary causes of systemic poverty?

Can these suggestions act to reduce poverty?

  • Work together with police to reduce violence
  • Work together with police to reduce drug use
  • Work together with police to reduce crime
  • Work together with police to breakup gangs
  • Do not cry everything is racially motivated
  • Build strong traditional families
  • Teach the value of education
  • Learn English and American history
  • Learn a trade
  • Organize community clean ups and work days
  • Help your neighbor
  • Integrate churches
  • Encourage investment in local businesses
  • Share resources
  • Accept some bias and move on
  • Do not become dependent on government
  • Do not take from others
  • Teach hard work and persistence makes wealth
  • Do not waste money

What can government do to help reduce systemic poverty?

Is the NATIONAL NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH a beneficial program?

Would reducing police funding help reduce poverty?

Would giving money to poor neighborhoods be an efficient way to reduce poverty?

Would giving money to poor neighborhoods increase crime (embezzlement)?

The 10th

You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor. (Exodus 20:17)

A more modern equivalent phrase could be Keeping up with the Jones' .

Why did God save this commandment to be the last one?

Is this commandment a cause of evil actions?

Is this commandment based on internal thought more than actions?

Can you covet and be satisfied with what you posses?

Are you happy if you are not satisfied with what you posses?

Is it a sin to be wealthy?

Is it a sin to be greedy?

Should someone who works hard obtain more possessions?

Can working hard all of the time improve your satisfaction with life?

Can coveting create hatred for those with more possessions than us?

When do you have enough?

How do you judge if you have enough to be satisfied?

Can a focus on God reduce reliance on possessions?

Can a focus on serving others reduce desire for possessions?

Do more possessions make you a better person?

Do possessions make you happier?

Can sharing possessions allow people to posses less for themselves?
